Relay for Life this year was another amazing 24 hour event, in which we all walked, and walked… and walked! “Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer.” (Relay for Life)
Beta Phi Delta had a bake sale, with all proceeds going to R4L, these donation were added into our others that we received and fundraised for throughout the course of the year prior.
Spring 2009 RUSH has begun, we are looking forward to Omicron class! Stay up to date by asking us questions in the forums.
A list of all rush Events will soon be seen in our calendars, but here is the full sized flyer with a list of activities, with times, and dates, and locations!
Saturday March 7th, 2009's community service event consisted of the 3rd and final installment of KRCB (Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful). We cleaned up 11 on/off ramps, over 3 different sites along the 91 freeway. In the picture above Jayson Gesulga can be seen beautifying a popular 91 onramp! (You'd be surprised by the crazy stuff we found here, haha!)
This was our last community service event for the quarter, unfortunately, so tune in during Spring when we resume our normal Saturdays! Also next quarter is RUSH, Omicron pledge class!
